Hello,

Did you checked if any of speaker(s) wires short circuit together (wires end touch each others)...if they looks normal then disconnect one speaker wires from amp back socket. repeat the step to other speakers too one by one until the problem stopped simulation.

Thanks

Hi,

your question is a little vague, so not really sure what you are saying, is this an ongoing problem?, have you added anything new lately?, since you mention you have checked all wiring did you remember to check speaker impedance switch on the back matches the impedance of your speakers??

Hi thanks for your help. There is no switch at the back, you need to do it via the remote and display. The unit does not stay on long enough to get to the right part of the menu. I have rewired all the speakers, even where no kit is hooked up DVD blu ray speakers the unit still goes into protect mode and shuts down. Also the volume is at -00 which the manual says it should not be but how do you change it? Just goes back to -00 every time.  Anymore help advice gratefully taken  Thanks so far  Simon

Simony,

dont know why answer above got ticked for right answer when clearly its not!, the fault clearly is beyond a novice to sort out and i suggest a trip to an authourised repair specialist for repair, after all it is a high end reciever and worth getting sorted properly as no amount of song and dancing on here is going to get it fixed!
