no subtitles while streaming with Sony BDV EF220

I have recently bought a sony BDV EF220 with a wireless wifi adaptor.
I can succesfully stream videos and audio but without the subtiless.
I have read other forums and I already installed PS3media center and Universal Media center and the video and audio have the same name, but the problem stays.

Yes, I can embed the subtitles with other software, but this takes a long time (unless you know a better and faster program?)

Does anyone can help me fixing this problem?

im afraid like many of us you will have to live without it until Serviio (Homestream) updates to the latest version which promises to play .srt files on Sony gear
