Hi guys. this is really doing my head in. No matter what i do, no matter what i buy to connect to my home cinema, i cant get sound. Here is what i have.
tv is LG lv355u and all 3 of its HDMI leads are powered by my NTSC region 'a' BDP s780 blu player, my PAL ps3 and my samsung C453 home cinema.
I can only get sound to my S780 if i unplug my phono leads from my ps3 to source [home cinema] and swap them around. I even bought an XO optical which didnt work. Then i also bought 2 T shapped phono splitters from amazon. My PS3 can pick up the sound from my home cinema, but my Sony player refuses point blank unless the leads are going directly from S780 to Samsung c453
Am i always destined to swap the phono leads over if i'm either watching Blu or play game?

Hi,
lets see if we can help,
in the set up menu of your blu ray player, go to Audio settings, click on that then check Dolby Digital (Coaxial/Optical) set to Dolby Digital, then set DTS (coaxial/optical) to DTS, then re connect your optical cable from your player to your Home Cinema and see how that goes.
