My new BDP-S380 won't play clearly.

I purchased a BDP-S380 today and have connected it to my Sony Bravia TV via the HDMI cable and although the menu reads clearly, when the dvd is played, the picture is out of focus...we've read the book and adjusted the settings, but to no avail....please help...I have one very upset son, because he can't watch Star Wars! Thanks.

Can you upload a photo? Have you checked the HDMI cable... should be something straightforward, but maybe give the customer helpline a quick bizz and they can walk you through some options.
