I have .ts files on computer transfered from a Humax hard disk recorder and want to create DVDs which will play on my DVP-NS355. I have tried several programs to convert, then burn to DVD-RW. e.g. Windows DVD maker (have Vista Home Premium lots of memory and disk space) Freemake Video Converter, DVD Flick, AVS Video Converter. Only the last one makes a disk that will play on the PC but DVD player says "Cannot play this disk". I convert to MPEG; Surely this should be simple! Do I have to create a region code on the disk?
Anyone have an idea how to do this? Don't need lots of Playlists and fancy stuff, just want it to play like a good old fashionned VHS tape when I put my DVD in! Any inputs will be appreciated.
DVD Flick always works for me...

Hi there you could try this:
http://http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/
It handles anything I can chuck at it and it states it converts .ts files
