How do i play my ipod through my DAV-TZ135 home cinema system?

Any help would be appreciated - I am trying to connect my ipod so it will play through my home cinema system. I tried to connect through the usb port at the front but it kept saying no usb connected. Please can someone explain what I need to do and if I need different connecting cables.

Hi,

that depends on what you are playing back from the ipod, movies you have no chance but music you may be able to use the headphone jack with phono leads to connect to the amp, some newer amps im told are MP3 ready which will enable connection via USB, but this is not the case here.
