Hi there

A couple of suggestions for you:

  • If you have connected it up via HDMI cable, if the cable is an older one, you might want to think about replacing it.
  • Try turning OFF the TV and N7100W from the powerpoint at the wall.  Leave off for a couple of minutes and switch it all back on again.
  • Try pressing the [Play] button and the [VOL - ] button at the same time on the main unit itself.  Hold down for more than 5 seconds (ie 10 seconds).  This will reset the output video resolution of the unit to its lowest setting.  So IF it works, you need to look at the resolution settings.

Hope that helps

Cheers.

What type of TV do you have?  Is it an older TV (ie something like HD Ready?)

Well thats, that idea out then.  Im assuming that you tried the third suggestion of the play and vol - buttons and it didnt work?  Unfortunately im out of ideas, and your probably going to have to contact Sony Support.  Unless someone else has any other suggestions.

Cheers

Hi,

looking quickly at the specs for the unit, i believe your problems lie within the set up, can you get the menu screen up?, if so go through all the settings again and set screen size etc etc, i am convinced tha.ts where your problem is
