Just decorated, now DVD(HDM1) player runs DVDs but nothing playing on Bravia32. Have I reconnected it incorrectly?

Hi,

re check your connections again make sure they fit tight, did you put them back in the right sockets? (HDMI out from player to HDMI 1 on the tv).

do you have to change input on tv manually or does it switch over automatically?

if it all worked before you decorated then its something you did wrong on re connect.
