closed dvd not working in two of three computers

knyppla wrote:

I have recorded several dvd:s in  the DVD recorder RDR-AT 100 from old VHS, I have first put the on  the  hard drive as it did not work out trying to copy them direct from the  VHS.

I  have closed them as the instructions say but they will not show up when  I try them in my laptop or in the stationary computer but my husband  can see the dvd:s in his computer. So I guess they are properly closed.  We have Windows 7 in our laptops (Windows media player) and Vista and  windows media player in the stationary computer.

Can someone tell me what I have done wrong?

Hi,

windows software alone may not give you what you need, apparently there's a couple of ways to do this, one is with a converter which connects to your VHS recorder to your DVD recorder and the other by software for your pc called Roxio.

your best bet is to Google VHS to DVD, and see if you can find what your looking for there.
