Cant update S570

I have been trying for the last few weekends to do a network update on my player.
It is hard wired to the net and tells me I need to update, so start the process. It gets to 6/9 then says communications interrupted. Anyone else experienced this. Is it easier to just update via a CD from Sony site.

I have never had an issue previously on updates.

I'm going from M04.R.735 to M04.R.752

Am I missing a previous incremental update or is something else to blame?

Never seen this problem before, so maybe best to do it via CD. You don't want an error mid update as it could be a bigger problem!

Took your advice and just done it by CD with no problem. So am fully updated, but still puzzled why it fails. All online features are working fine. Odd one this.

could just be the internet especially sunday try streaming files even with a connection that supposedly runs at between 10mbps -19mbps
