Cannot pair Android remote app and S370

I'm running the Android "Media Remote" app version 2.0.0 on an HTC Hero, and can't register my BDP-S370 (with the latest firmware).

I've clicked the button to register a remote on the Blu-Ray menu, but when I click "Add Registration" on the Android app, I instantly get "No unregistered device found".

Anyone got any suggestions on how to track this down?

(I haven't (yet) registered the player with a Sony Essentials account, if that could be a factor.)

I am having the same problem with S480 and HTC Desire. Have tried two phones and can notget them to register.

Hi - Have you tried updating the firmware and doing a factory reset. This will normally flush any glitches..
