I feel embarrassment ahead...being quite new to the home cinema world!
I have recently bought a Sony BDV-E370 and this is now connected to my samsung LED tv. It super when watching a bluray disc and the radio function works fine.
I'm wondering if I can watch regular tv through the sony system menu through the 'input' tv option, it doesn't seem to work. There is, as far as I can find, nothing in the instruction manual that says what this function is for. My normal tv setting works through the home cinema fine, i..e not through the anytime+. the connection to the tv from the player is via a hdmi cable and the sound in the through the optical cable. my tv source is an good old fashioned aerial into the back of the tv.
if anyone can shed any light/ explain my stupidity I'd be grateful.

Give priority to external audio speakers on Your TV. Try it in hdmi control on and off function. Connection is ok--hdmi and optical. Of course I can not give guarantee, becouse we are Sony and Your TV is Samsung, but it could work.
