Hi,
I have a BDP 370 blu ray player and have a twonky media server with 'MPEG-4 Video, AAC' video files. I've tried playing them in my player under the video section, but when i go to the correct folder it says 'no compatible files'. According to the Sony website this model supports this format over DLNA http://www.sony.ie/product/blu-ray-disc-player/bdp-s370#pageType=TechnicalSpecs
I have the latest firmware update. Anyone got any ideas why it's not working?
Hi
Could be a number of things, but checkout this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwtBQJadBL8 and get Serviio setup. This should solve any compatibility problems.
Thanks
My media files are on a NAS (Western Digital MyBook World Edition), which has twonky installed so I'm limited to that. I don't want to have to stream from my PC as having to have it booted up and logged in kind of defeats the purpose for me. I have a small device that streams video so would rather use that
Also Twonky do actually list this device as compatible

Hi Furiousp,
You have rights, if Sony said it is compatible with MPEG4 in the BD specs....then it should play . could you try some others MPEG4 files and copy them to USB flash memory then connect directly to TV port to see if they would play
