Up until 3 weeks ago I had no problem streaming Mpeg4 video stored on my Synology DS211J NAS (all purchased via iTunes and my iTunes library is stored on the DS211J) wirelessly to my BDP S770.
I could see the NAS in the network menu, selected the folder, selected the movie and all was well. However, after several software updates from Synology when I repeat the process now I get the message "no playable file"
Any ideas?? Synology support have been looking at this for 3 weeks now with no joy.
Great NAS - I have the 410J. Best thing to do would be to do a full reset on the BDP ( assume you have the lastes firmware) as well the network settings which will flush everything. Also delete all visible DLNA servers from the device ( it will then force it to rescan and find it again)
Hopefully that should flush through whatever glitch is causing this..
cheers
Tried this without success also tired to load Serviio onto my PC but when I view it in the BDP menu is shows all folders as empty, also tried to view files from USB drive plugged into the front as both AVI and MEG4 but get message files corrupt or unsupported.
