BDP-S580 file audio playback

I have a a couple of films as m2ts files with dts audio but the sound plays back as stereo. can i get the sound to output as dts from a file?

Hi,

you will need to run this through an A/V amp to get DTS soundtrack to play, it will not work through a tv alone.

Im running it through an amp but still plays back as Stereo.
