Since yesterday (26/10/11), or possibly a day or two before, iplayer is fully browsable on my BDP-S570, but if I attempt to play any content I see "Unfortunately this programme is not currently available".
This is the case for TV and radio content.
Is anyone else affected?
My firmware is R787.

Thanks for your input, Bravia55HX923.
On checking iPlayer on my PC, I was surprised to find that the BBC considered my IP address to be abroad, so the content was not available to me. So I was getting a little more information than from the BDP-S570.
The BBC Has an article about it. Essentially I'd recently swapped my modem/router, and as a result Virgin Media handed my new modem/router a new IP address. And seemingly Virgin Media has not updated the BBC's database to indicate that this address, and presumably a range of others, is in the UK.
Anyway, the fix, thanks to a discussion with Virgin Media is to set the proxy server: I have to admit that I'd always left this blank, and connected direct. So I went back into the net setup on the blu-ray player and set the proxy server and its port, as suggested by Virgin Media.
Browsing the available titles for iPlayer is now more sluggish, but I can now watch the content.
Still, it would be nice if I could bypass the proxy, and I'd have to wait for VM to talk to the BBC about those IPs, but for now I'm happy.

Hi,
i have exactly same player and same firmware and have no such issues.

Great information bl00ray . Thanks for sharing
bl00ray,
great share of info there, i was surprised at that as i too am on Virgin Media and had my router set up by the engineer and nothing was said then about the proxy server and i have no reason to check that since everythings running fine, i apprieciate my last answer was blunt and to the point but at that stage i had nothing else to offer which naturally steered you elsewhere for the cause, anyway, great share.
