BDP-S370 USB socket.

I have downloaded photos from my computer in .jpeg format onto several pen drives but my new S370 will not recognise them. However, it does recognise and play back photos when my HP camera is plugged into the USB socket. It will not recognise another camera,  a Casio.

When buying a new pen drive do I have to specify any special characteristic in order for it to be compatable?

I think it just needs to be formatted as a FAT32 drive rather than NTFS drive.

Thank you for your interest but I have just re-formatted one of my pen drives from FAT to FAT32 (after googling how to do it   ) and the message still come up THE USB DEVICE CONNECTED...IS NOT SUPPORTED  .

If I buy a new pen drive how do I know whether it will be supported. The instruction manual does not help.
