BDP S370 - Streaming from my network

I have got my BDP S370 up and running, it's connected to my broadband and everything seems to be working fine. But I cannot find my computer network. I have got the latest update for my blu-ray player. I am a Mac user, and have MediaLink setup. It works fine with my PS3, but I need to know how to get it working on my blu-ray player.

Any ideas?

Have you tried using Serviio for Mac. Not only is it a good bit of software, but it has specific profiles for Sony hardware and is free. www.serviio.org.

Thanks

Ok thanks, I will give it a go. Do you know if it should work with MediaLink. It shows my network but is grayed out and says it is not supported. I'm guessing not, which is annoying because it works on the Sony Playstation!

Ok I downloaded Serviio and it's working, but will not let me play the videos I have on my hard drive. I've got Serviio and MediaLink running at the same time, so I can play my videos on my PS3 via MultiLink. When I tried Serviio on my PS3 I could not see most of my videos, I have the same problem with the Blu-Ray player. Is it because the Blu-Ray player will only play certain format? Most of them are AVI. But when I plug my memory stick into the Blu-Ray it lets me play AVI files. It just seems a bit weird that MediaLink will let me play the AVI files but Serviio won't.

No experience with Medialink I'm afraid., Serviio will simply transcode the video files into a format which is supported by the TV. Make sure you have selected the Sony BD (EU) profile within serviio console as well as this may help also. So if the files aren't playing, it suggests an error in setup rather than a problem with the software.

Thanks

It was set to  Sony BD (EU). Should it be able to play AVI files? Maybe I need to convert them all the MOV files.

Right I've just checked again and all the videos are now there. It must have taken a while to convert all the files.

Thanks for your help!
