3D on BD-S360?

Have just bought KDL-40LX903.  Already have Blu Ray player BD-S360.  I was told I could upgrade this to play 3D.  Is this possible and if so how?

Afraid you were mis-informed, you'd need to get the BDP-S470 or S480 or above to playback 3D content.
