vtuner setup for MX750Ni
Hi. I have just set up my new MX750Ni on my network and can stream music from my Twonky NAS. However, when I try to use the Music Services option I select VTuner but receive a "Cannot Connect" message. Also the manual tells me to scroll down on the Music Services menu to see the registration code but this does not show as an option.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Harkers

Here is A Solution :
Create on your NAS Server or internet box Disk a file name radio.m3u :
The file will contain only text :
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:0,Radio Panik
http://streaming.domainepublic.net:8000/radiopanik.ogg
#EXTINF:0,Radio Libertaire
http://88.191.151.104:8080/radiolib
#EXTINF:0,Radio Zinzine
http://www.zinzine.domainepublic.net/listen.m3u
#EXTINF:0,Radio Grenouille
http://live.radiogrenouille.com/live
#EXTINF:0,France Inter
http://mp3.live.tv-radio.com/franceinter/all/franceinterhautdebit.mp3
#EXTINF:0,FIP
http://mp3.live.tv-radio.com/fip/all/fiphautdebit.mp3
#EXTINF:0,France Culture
http://mp3.live.tv-radio.com/franceculture/all/franceculturehautdebit.mp3
#EXTINF:0,Jet FM
http://80.82.229.202:8000/jetfm.mp3
You choose the streaming adress directly from google for your favorite radios.
Play it from your sony system and switch to next radio using next track button.
It works perfectly and of course no limitation like sony bull***** contract with Vtuner.

file is on an USB Stick on the inernet box, sony connected per LAN to it and I can access the radio.m3u file though the Home Network Menü.
Did I miss something?

I have an MX750NI with no vTuner . I am attempting to get to talk to my synology NAS system where I have AUDIO Station and access to SHOUT radio. The NAS can see my Sony hi Fi, but I have not yet got it to link up and play. Shout offers as much as vTuner , so I am going to see if synology can talk me through it. I am not tech savvy and the support at synergy has always been very helpful

I had these sort of problems some time ago but now with a new router I've tried again to connect to Music Services, and this time it's even worse - I get nothing but a 'no service' message. What's clear from all the previous posts is that Sony, which presents itself as a world-standard company, is totally indifferent to this problem. It raises the legal question of whether the goods offered were fit for sale as advertised. It also means it's the last Sony product I'll buy.

Hello.
Everyone knows that Sony has ***** up and Vtuner services is not work.
Due this fact I didn't use this function in my radio till this time.
I had information that service is not available.
But today I realized that something was changed.
Now in my radio CMT-MX700Ni I can see my previous written radio stations.
I can see also new option - YouTube.
Of course nothing is working, but is it something new?
Do you have the same?
Is it any light in dark tunnel?
Rgds.

Under "music services" is showing "preset" and "you tube". Nothing happens when I try to connect the "you tube".
I have not used the "preset" radio as I purchased my unit for the internet radio. I can get the internet radio as I channel it throughfrom my synology NAS box. (I have downloaded "Shoutcast" onto the NAS) It works a trat and I can also play all 20,000 pieces of music stored on the NAS through the sony unit.
Can't see this being light at the end of the tunnel - its probably just the lights of an oncoming train. I will not be buying sony in future. I buy Samsung.
Good luck

Heh.
My Sony is not useable after problem with vtuner, and also it is the last my sony radio in my home.
From the same reason I didn't buy camera Sony. Nothing from Sony.
You have NAS - lucky you. But NAS must work 24/7 to be able use it via radio.
I have router with file sharing (without radio service).
Maybe is it possible to prepare a list (maybe m3u) of internet radios? Will it works?

Sorry, I don't know enough about routers to help you. That's why I got synology it does most of the work for you and its very intuative. I run my nas on timed program (built in feature you can set up to suit)shuts down at midnight then it reboots at 06:00.
Synology comes with many different packages you can download. One of which is "audiostation" through this I get Internet radio provided by "Shoutcast"
If you know your router well, maybe it would be possible to use shoutcast to stream through the sony?
Sorry I can't help more.
Good Luck
