Availability in Europe - SA-NS300 / 400 internet speakers (HomeShare System)

Does anyone know when the internet speakers SA-NS300 and SA-NS400 of the Sony HomeShare System will be available in Europe (especially in Switzerland)?

I asked this question several times to the support but they never answered (don't they want to sell products???). I'm thinking about to order it overseas but I would prefer to get it here if I don't have to wait too long.

Thanks - Wolfgang

Wolfgang,

I ordered my SA-NS300 at pixmania.com. Good price.

I have not yet seen any dealer offering the SA-SN 400.

But honestly, there are some discussions od this forum questioning the quality of the device, e.g. bad WLAN Antenna performance, no internetradio possible.

I personally use the 300 as party streaming client and and as a renderer using the audio remote app.

It works well, but the sound quality is rather poor. Probably acceptabe for the price.

I agree. If you search for online reviews on SA-NS300, customers experience is always regarding the wireless. Some of them give it 4 out of 5 stars tho even with this.

At the end of the day, it will depend on how you use this or on how much impact that would do to you. Happy shopping. http://imagicon.info/cat/12-13/vbulletin-smile.gif

Hi guys

Thanks for all your answers. Finally I was so unhappy with this SONY stuff, especially with the handling, that I sold my CMT-MX700Ni and the SA-NS300.

It was so unconvinient to simply choose or change an internet radio station, and it took so long everytime to change the station. Also the connection to the station seemed to be lost often. The unstable connection with the SA-NS300 I don't even want to mention.

With the SONY iPhone App I was not able to really control the stuff, I had endless discussions with the guy from the support, but he did not even understand that this app is not very useful like this...

Now I have the SONOS, I can't believe how easy it can be. One minute for the whole setup, the choice of internet radio stations is a real pleasure, the control of everything is that easy and smooth simply using my iPhone.

Very sad, I always was a SONY fan, but this time it looks like they did not care too much for this product.
