Camera Found - Please Sony

Hi,

If i send you a serial number of the camera i found, can Sony know to where this camera have been sold?

Actually i found a Soney handycam and I need to return it to right owner.

If we know the shop Agent who baught it thru Camera S/N then we might know the right owner.

Please help me to find him.
