RX10M4 and imaging edge android app

Hi

I am able to get the app to connect to the camera but the shutter button only seems to work on single shooting not if continuous shooting is selected. Phone is Moto C. HFR seems to work ok but I guess that counts as single shutter operation. I have chosen not to send images back to phone. Any help gratefully received. Pete

Did it!

Thank you for showing me that continuous shooting is possible.

Here's a screen shot.

Once you know how, it's simple.

Slide the slider instead of pushing the button.

Hi

Thanks for the links. I can control various things in different modes, but as soon as I change from single shot to continuous shooting I am unable to take any pictures. Focussing seems to be working and is set to C on the front switch. Single shot works very well but I would really like the chance to use continuous shooting as the subjects are wild birds which do have the habit of continuously moving and it would be nice to pick the best image available. Camera is on version 2 firmware and phone is running Android 7. Again any guidance gratefully received. Thanks Pete

Well, if you're chasing birds then switch off shutter sound of your camera too.

Consider buying a gimbal like f.i. YT-500, so you can chase without disturbing the birds.

Enjoy!

PS

YT-500, read the reviews before you buy.
