Flash not working.

I have a Sony cyber-shot DSC-HX90V

I cannot get the flash to work at all. I have had the camera about 6 months but hardly used it.

When I press the flash button on the control wheel I just get a message on the screen; "this operation or setting not available as follows; ISO/ MULTI FRAME NR."

The instructions that came with the camera are of no use whatsoever.

Very frustrated with this, and with a camera that is hugely overcomplicated and difficult to understand.

Any ideas anyone?
