I've been at the computer all day and I'm stuck. I have an HX-50 Cyber-Shot which I haven't used in a long time.

I have been fiddling with it and trying to find answers in the manual but cannot for the life of me work out how to manually set anything, nor how to unlock the Watercolour function which is permanently stuck on OFF.

Any pointers on a YouTube video, or other such video that will help.

there is an online-manual for the HX-50: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/Z010/Z010665111.PDF

Just use "Ctrl"+"F" to search for keywords like e.g. the watercolor effect (which is on page 62).

There you will find everything you can and cannot do and set up on the camera.
