I purchased the Sony AF8 from Currys which promises 2x free 4k movies but there's nowhere to redeem the offer.
I've opened the offer in Sony Select but this only says what the offer is, then when I enter Google Play Movies & TV it doesn't mention the offer anywhere.
Anyone know what I should do ?? There is a valid method of payment in my Google account so that won't help. Seems a bit of a daft offer if there's nowhere to redeem it...
I just bought a new 65" 4k Bravia and I am unable to redeem the movies either. ??

I've just spoken to Sony on the number that link gives you and they've told me that the 55" AF8 TV isn't part of the promotion even though Currys have the promotion on their website !!!

If so did you mention this?
Also if you have proof then you may have some wiggle room with Currys.

You're quite correct that the advert states the offer when you buy the TV.
I would actually get back in touch with Sony first and argue that their own website takes you to a purchase page where the offer is clearly stated and that they should honour the deal especially as Sony link directly to it

The problem is that the number sounds like a call centre, so once they've given you their answer they just apologise, then repeat that the model isn't part of the promo and then basically hang up the phone !

I didn't ask to speak to their manager, sounded like they were checking with someone else anyway as I was on hold for a few minutes. Also, they made it sound like it could be an issue that I should take up with Currys.

The fact is that Sony have a direct link to it on the website,
so it could be argued they are supporting the free movie offer
Hopefully I / you will hear something back from Sony soon
so at least you will know what route to go down (be it Currys or Sony.)
