Hi Guys
Does anyone have the XE80 range (or other) connected to a PC via HDMI and suffer intermittent drop outs when set to a 4K60hz resolution? Sometimes it will be constant every few seconds and then sometimes not for days.
Ive tried all usual fault-finding solutions such as replacement HDMI cables (5 so far), reinstalled drivers etc, I cant seem to identify the cause of the issue. Ive tried various settings 4:2:0,4:2:2,4:4:4 etc and 8bit.10bit,12bit as well as different refresh rates but once it starts "dropping" nothing seems to stop it. Rebooting can help but then the clock is on till it starts again. Im starting to wonder if this is a manufacturing fault of the TV
Ive read the FAQ and I know its a common occurance but nothing seems to be helping me, Im curious to find anyone else who runs a similar setup and if they experienced this issue? I believe it could be a handshake/HDCP issue. Nvidia forums are not particulally helpful.
Interested to hear opinions!
Thanks!

Hi Rangerbeast,
Welcome to our community!
Have you tried to set the HDMI format of the inputs to enhanced format? This option optimizes the TVs performance to allow viewing of 4K and HDR content so I believe this could be a solution. You can set the HDMI format to enhanced by pressing on Home - Settings - External inputs - HDMI signal format and select enhanced
Let us know if this resolves the issue.

Hello,
I just bought an XF9005 and have the same problem with Windows 10 and Nvidia 1050Ti.
Did you find any solution for this?
Thank you!
