Sony Bravia KD-55XE8599B erkennt USB-Stick nicht

Hallo Community,

wie schon der Titel sagt, erkennt der Bravia Fernseher meinen USB-Stick nicht. Habe darauf zwei .mp4 Dateien gespeichert und kann die nicht abspielen, da ich keine Dateien angezeigt kriege. Auch eine Installation von Kodi-Player aus dem Google App-Store brachte nichts. Was mache ich falsch? Brauch ich eine bestimmte Art von Stick? Der jetzige ist FAT32 formatiert.

Mir ist aufgefallen, dass nichtmal die Anschlüsse angezeigt werden. HDMI usw. wird angezeigt, USB jedoch nicht. Wenn ich auf Videos klicke, steht da "keine Dateien vorhanden".

FAT32 sollte kein Problem sein. Hast du alle USB Stecker am TV ausprobiert. Kommt wenigstens eine Anzeige das ein USB Gerät angeschlossen wurde?

Hast du die Möglichkeit ein anderen USB Stick auszuprobieren. Es muss ja nicht unbedingt am TV liegen. 

versuche es auch mit einem Restart - On/Off Taste auf der Fernbedienung für mindestens 5 Sekunden halten bis der TV ausgeht, danach Neustart.

Danke für Deine Antwort. Jap, die Anleitung in Deinem Link hab ich natürlich ausprobiert. Ich hab sämtliche Anschlüsse durchprobiert und nein, es wird nichtmal angezeigt, dass ein USB-Stick angeschlossen wurde.

Brauche ich da vielleicht einen USB 3.0 oder muss der eine bestimmte Mindestlesegeschwindigkeit haben oder sonstige Anforderungen? Ich möchte ungern extra deswegen einen Stick kaufen, außer es würde das Problem wirklich lösen dann.

So, Problem gelöst. Ich konnte jetzt noch einen anderen Stick ausprobieren und mit dem ging es. Ich hab keine Ahnung ob es daran lag, aber der erste Stick - mit dem es nicht ging - hatte 128GB (1GB Daten darauf). Mit dem zweiten Stick mit 8GB Speciherkapazität geht es nun problemlos.

Vielleicht hilft es ja jemand anderem weiter. Ich bedanke mich bei @r_a_n_i für die Antwort.

Hello  , i have a Sony Bravia KD 55AF8  and have serious problems with the USB stick recognition. I am trying to download the channel list to edit it with the sony channel editor software on my pc. I now spent hours to try to download the channel list but after multiple attempts with various USB sticks I give up. I have formatted USB  sticks in all kind of FAT , FAT32, NTFS, noFAT format , nothing is recognized. The TV always demands the USB stick to be formatted within the TV , which leads to it not being regonized by the computer using the channel editor software.  I also tried to register the USB stick and then not press "format" , also does not work . also tried to reboot the TV with the usb stick in .  when i press "forget  usb stick" they are never recognized again, even when re-formatted! . the channel list editor is needed because editing channels in the sony bravia is a true pain,  far from user friendly. i am surprised to see this functionality is so poorly designed ! can anyone help or is there a firmware update planned that will take care of it? .

Same Problem at my side. If I formate the stick at TV the computer dosn't recognize it and if I format at computer the TV cannot store data there.

Very poor
