Lip syncing
Hi, I have a KD49XF9005BU tv connected to a sky q 2tb box via the HDMI arc connections.
I am having problems with lip syncing. Does anyone have the same problem and does anyone have any idea on how to resolve this please?

Hi @storming41
In the past this sort of issue has been resolved with firmware update. Can you confirm your TV us up to date?
If it is, it will be worth resetting both the box and the TV. Instructions for the TV are here.
Another thing to try is using an optical connection for audio, rather than HDMI.
Hopefully one of those will do it!

Hi Mick, thanks for the reply.
Firmware is up to date.
Boxes reset has made no difference.
What are the connections to be used on the tv and sky q box for the optical cable?

Hi storming41,
I'm not sure exactly what is the reason behind the lipsync, but I'd first try to use a different cable, use different ports with the TV and the box as well.
Try using any other HDMI external device and check if you will notice lipsync too, If yes, it's most likely an issue with the TV if not, then it is an issue with the box and I'd recommend getting in touch with the support of the set-top box to get help with this.
Hope this helps,

Hi, Almou_10.
SKY replaced the 2TB Q box at the weekend and it made no difference.

Hi storming41,
Have you tried any other HDMI device like a PlayStation or Xbox, or even a firestick? I guess the issue doesn't occur while playing content from YouTube or any other app on the TV, so it's important to try a different device via HDMI.
Cheers,
