When I press the 'Discover' button on my remote the 'Content Bar' does not display any more. This has only started happening about two days ago. Either, the bar comes up, says' 'Displaying' and goes away again, or the main home screen is displayed, or the content bar is displayed for a short time sometimes as long as a minute and then vanishes again.
What governs the loading of the content bar and why may it not be working?
I have not downloaded any recent updates. Please don't ask me to do a factory reset or install the latest updates. I am trying to avoid both.

Hi @Thorfin00 Have you tried a simple reset? Hold down the TV Remote power button for several seconds until you see Power off appear on the screen.
Yes, the first time I tried that it fixed the problem. Then the next day it happened again, and I tried the simple reset again and for the second time it fixed the problem. But today when I do the same reset it does not fix the problem at all
