Hello,
I have 4 months old 75XH8096 and suddenly the picture disappeared completely.
Power is on, sound can be heard background and remote control is working but no picture at all. Just black screen.
I did boot up TV several times, even did factory reset but no change.
Has anyone noticed similar troubles?
Best Regards,
Matti

Hello,
Final outcome:
Sony technician visited at home and swapped TV to brand new one.
He checked the log files from old one and found some critical errors.
Picture is now brilliant, clear and black is black.
Let's hope that this one works now next coming years without any hick ups. Fingers crossed.
BR,
Matti

Hi Matti,
Probably a technical issue with the backlight.
I would recommend to get in touch with an authorized service centre.
Cheers

Thanks Peter for your comment.
Actually I have contacted to Sony through my reseller.
Actions are on going but just want to know whether that is something common in this model - so called "type failure"

Update:
While waiting for Sony technician to come repair TV was 3 days power off.
I just tried to power on and wow - was able to see initial screen (factory reset).
Just setting up again and it works ok. Picture is actually brilliant.
Let's see how it works or does it repeat the same problem.
Really weird!
Need to ask technician's opinion anyhow what he'll propose to do!!!!

Hey vmatti, the force factory reset is a bit tricky as it sometimes doesn't come on by itself. Glad it worked, let us know what the engineer say.
