1 year extended service plan

I have tried several times to complete the online 1 year extended service plan form for my a7iii.It asks for the model but there is no box to type it in and after completing the rest of the details and pressing submit it asks for the model but won't accept it. Help!

I had the same problem, purchased camera from Jessops came with Sony extended warranty but when I tried redeeming it said have you typed the model correctly.

 

i contacted Sony support and they asked for a photo of the gold card, the invoice and the serial number on the box and they did it manually for me.

Did it give you the option to select from a drop down list of Sony products rather than type it in?

I had this and selected the ILCE-7M3 from the list and it all went through fine.

You will then receive and email response with  a contract attached and the following message:

Thank you for giving your Sony product the care it deserves.

You can find your service contract attached to this e-mail. Please keep this document somewhere safe as you will need to present it together with the proof of purchase of your Sony product to one of the authorised service centres in the event your product would need repair.

For any questions about your extended warranty, please call the Sony helpline, (9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday) on +44 (0) 20 73 65 28 10.

If still no luck then try calling the number above for assistance.
