ILCE-7M2 thumbwheel and delete button

I'm having issues with the thumbwheel and delete buttons. They have both taken a mind of their own. When I review a photo and then press the delete button it jumps to "Focus Mode"! The Thumbwheel is gone completely mad, when pressing the wheel at the top (12:00 o'clock) it jumps left and when pressing the wheel right it goes down! The camera is getting unusable. Navigating through the menus is a nightmare. Can anyone help without having to send the camera back to Sony (again)

Have you tried a reset? Remove the battery for one minute, then reinsert and initialise the settings.
