xperia z2 miracast issues

st bought xperia z2.. but its unable conect my philips blu ray player by miracast my previous phone lg g 2 miracast working fine...but now m conecting z2 its showing conected but its not showing and display in my led or not even sound...realy disappointed with sony..now im filling why m changed my phone brand

Which build number do you have under Settings -> About phone? If you have Android 5.0 in your phone, do you know if it worked before the update?

Which Android version do you have in the phones that's working?

No never... I think some compatibility issue..lg.. Samsung.. Htc working fine..u hve to check software of wifi in sony..or cross check with lg Samsung.. By that we can know wht missing in sony..

5.0.2 latest one...before than m not checked but yes in lg g2 and samsung note 3 have kitkat..

The reason i ask is that i have seen a few cases where some devices seems to not be fully compatible with Lollipop. In these cases Miracast stops working when you update the phone/tablet to Lollipop but installing the latest firmware for the TV/bluray/Miracast-receiver has helped in those cases.

Have you also tried to update the firmware in your bluray? From what i could find on Philips web page, the latest update (1.29.00) says it improves Android compatibility.
