Xperia Z1 Compact Screen Has Locked

Help please!

Have only had my phone about a month.  Decided to get a magnetic charging lead - seemed like a good idea at the time.  The charger was rubbish - magnet's too weak to keep the charger in place and, now my screen has locked.  All I can do is use the power button to turn the display on/off.  I can not do screen unlock and the display has frozen at 20:02.  

I have tried holding down the power button and volume at the same time but this has no effect (although it did make a shutter sound a couple of times so I've probably got a screen shot!)  The first time I trried it, it did vibrate but the screen stayed locked.  Now, it doesn't even vibrate.

Grateful for any advice.

Aaaaah!  Thank you!  It's fine now.

... when you use the wrong clip the z1 compact doesn't stay in the charger! there are two clips in the package!
