Updates won't install Sony Experia Z3 Compact

New updates for software down loaded, but the installation has been running for more than 24hrs. Don't know how to stop or correct it.

It's totally abnormal for installation to take 24 hours, are you sure it's installing or still downloading?

It says installing and I can't do anything to stop it. It's now doing the same with the Podcast update.....

Well I suggest PC Companion for updating as general. But now with the current situation, your phone is un-usable in this state, right?

Fixed the problem by using PC Companion. All good now thanks.

Mine has been 'installing' for days. What is Pc Companion? How do I access it?

First,try to go to settings-apps-all,look for the app called software update. Tap on it,force stop and clear data.

If not working,download PCC:

Connect your phone to a PC and it will automatically install PC companion. Follow instructions on screen. It fixed my problem.
