No network coverage

Why is my phone saying no mobile network?  Can't get my phone to work

Ok, nobody wants to answer, but why? I have a similar problem. I'm using it in rouming and the main network are unavailable to my device. My wife uses the same provider and sim card and contract, and she is connected to the main naetworks of the big local providers. I also can't make a back-up to the device to reset it. So if someone has ideas feel free?

I have the same problem for the last couple of days. What I have tried so far:

• Restart the phone. No change.
• Safe mode restart. No change.
• Software repair. No change.
• SIM removal and re-insert. No change.

The only thing that temporarily works is launching "Google Home" app. Crazy as it sounds, it does bring back the network  coverage instantly.

I'm sorry to hear aobut the issue, keep in mind that thisis a global user based forum, which means that we, users, are here to help each other; with that said, which android version and build number is the phone running? 

test the phone in >>> safe mode also, test a different SIM card if possible.

Thank you for the advice, I'll try the safe mode. The android is Nougat 7.1.1 and the software is 34.4.A.1.54, I will let everyone know if anithing has changed after the safe mode.
