how to remove cell icon

hi everyone...i have a doubt, and i cant resolve it , before MM update...how can i remove the cell icon?...i've tried with off in permissions options, but not..here an image...

None of these "solutions" can be used on the XZ2 with Android 8.0. The referenced fix idea does not exist .

Oreo: this works. 

-Drag statusbar down. 

-Hold Cell Information. 

-Tap cell information under "Categories". 

-Select "Low".
