Hello!
Yesterday my phone suddenly lost its connection to the service provider. This happened while i held the phone in my hand writing a textmessage so i watched it happen.
In the matter of seconds both my cell reception and internettconnection dropped to zero and was never seen again.
I know the phone detects the simcard as it asks for the PIN when i turn it on.
Here is what i have done this far in an attempt to remedy the situation:
Ruled out the serviceprovider, when trying my sim in another phone it works just fine. I also tried a simcard from another provide in my xz, and still getting no reception.
I reset the phone to factorysettings.
I rebooted the phone in safe mode.
I have checked the APN, its correct.
Asked the phone for the IMEI and checked it, its correct.
When both manually and automatically searching for providers the phone is able to find them, but when i try connecting to any one of them the phone tries for a while before giving up and i get the "unable to connect, try again later" message.
I also noticed that when the screen is locked and i press the unlockbutton, it says the providers name in the top left corner, but when i dial the pin and unlock it, it says "no service".
The problem has been consistent since it first happened regardless of what i have done.
Is there anything else that i havent thought of? Please help!
