I've had this issue for 5 months already. It was tolerable at the start coz it can still charge after few attempts of disconnecting the usb cable from the charger port and connecting it again but today, it stopped charging.
I'm using an original SONY Type C cable and using the power adapter. When I connect the USB cable, it will not readily detect the connection. But once it does, it will show the battery status moving, as if it was charging. But after a few hours, the percentage remains the same. (let's say, 5%). So basically it's not really charging.
I did a factory reset hoping it will fix the problem but it's still the same.
Can you provide other troubleshooting steps before I bring it AGAIN to the service centre? I have not experienced this issue with my Xperia Z3 before.
try to charge the device while turned off ,.
check the port for any unusalities.
try diffrent cable
boot to safe mode
or perform software repair using Xperia Companion
