Where can I find USB Type-C to 3.5mm Audio Jack Adapter that really works? I purchase five between Amazon and eBay and none works. The new earbud works fine when plugged into my laptop.

Good, have the USB Type C audio jack, mine got lost and I tried to replace it with the ones I bought on Amazon. They claim to be genuine, but none of the five I have purchase doesn't work.

I used several cheap ones off Amazon... these look and feel the hardiest (I've bought 4 sets for my kids and myself*)

these look and feel more flimsy... but work fine...

*all have been extensively used for 12months or more by myself on my XZ2C and my kids' Huawei M5 tablets...

Either way, none of these are as solid as the real thing, so next phone is going back to a headphone jack, if I can!!!

Personally, I REALLY hate the idea of leaving a plug my phone while it is in my pocket as I'm sure the leverage is going to damage the socket, so I am considering one of these right angle options (not I have NOT tried them yet, so not vouching for these):
