Sony xz premium Earphone jack failure

Just purchased my new xz premium. I cant listen to music through the earphone jack. Ive tried 3 different pairs of 3.5mm earphones with jack lead plus a cable. Whats wrong?

Do you get any error message or is it just not detecting them at all?

Do you experience the same issue in safe mode?
