it probably was replaced by Google's Android Messages because of RCS support (Google's app supports it already, so using it instead of Sony app means there's no need to implement it again). you can still get Sony's app from APKMirror (I'm trying to post direct link but my message gets unapproved, just go to APKMirror and search for "Sony Messaging").
