Shameful policy of updates of Sony in Spain, first updated versions of the phones of companies Vodafone, Orange, movistar etc and then the free versions specifically these versions have been updated 2 times in the last three weeks and the free version makes three Months that is not updated.
My wife's phone a Samsung with Android 4 has security update of March 2017, while my "top of the range" Xperia xz has the update of February 2017.
I write in Spanish because it is my language, that even for that we are discriminated against.
My next phone I'm sure it will not be sony
Which Samsung on 4 has March security updates? Genuinely curious as their own database of quarterly updated patches begins with 5.1.1

Who said you lied, I asked a perfectly legitimate question, updates for older devices are a good sign from Android.
I am guessing you are waiting on IBE firmware which is still not released, unfortunately as we are all users here it's impossible for us to pinpoint when it will roll out to your device.
I had previous to this one Xperia Z2 and the free Spanish version, it was always the last to leave (in Spain) always came before the operator versions, with this Xperia xz is happening the same, did not compare it with versions of other countries, Although he could compare it with the phones sold in Spain.

Once again forgotten Spanish customers, has been released an update with the security patch June, they are updating the countries that already had the update of May, and the Spanish free terminals with the APRIL Update.
That makes me think that, in a country with a 90% android quota, that sony is only interested in selling, not the satisfaction of customers.

Is a new criticism, not the same is more refers to different versions, although the result is the same, hide the head under the wing as the ostrich. The only thing they get with this attitude is to annoy the customer more.
I have never been given a convincing explanation, or who can give it, they pass the ball to each other, the support of Sony Spain refers us to this forum, certainly not in our language, and in this forum or do not reply, or they dont know anything.
