Hello guys, how many of you are using the temperred glass cover on your unit. Did it have an impact on the speed your battery needs to be recharged..?

A screen protectot no matter if it is glass or a simple plastic one will have no impact on your battery consumption.......what makes you think this Thinking_Face

I noticed after I put one recently, there was some reduction in my battery juice time.  charging routine . that was the only change I did.

I read also from the web some users gave similar experience with other phone brands so I am asking if other xz users gave related experience..

charge the phone 100% > use the phone as you normally would for 2 or so hours > check the battery status > take screenshots

charge the phone 100% > boot in >>> safe mode > use it the same way as before for the same amount of time > check the battery status and take screenshots

same as before but this time w/o the screen protector.

As it had a screen protector on the display already . It's late to verify by peeling it off. I just wanted to know if somebody here had similar experience with their XZ. If they can confirm it really did, then I will remove it. BTW.. What kind of Gorilla glass does xz  have..?

Thanks for your comments..

I have 2 Xperia XZ one with and one without a film protector, I don't see much of a difference.

different situation, but we'll see if other users have similar situations, it will be helpful if you post the brand and model of the screen film/glass protector.
