Proximity sensor is turn on always

Hi
I have a problem with my xperia xz
From when I did update to Android 7.1.1
The light or proximity sensor is always on and I can see a red light from sensor in dark!
Befor, if I turned of the adaptive brightness the sensor turn of and i couldn't see the red light from sensor!
But now and after be updating to Android 7.1.1, I always see the red light from sensor even when the adaptive brightness be turn of.
When I can't t see the red light that I turn airplane mode on!!!
Please help me

Hi @Ayyob, welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear about this issue.

If you experience issues with an update then I recommend you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion as this will usually resolve the issue for you.

With proximity sensor problems, they are often caused by screen protectors. If the software repair doesn't help, try removing the screen protector.
