I bought the phone from Siam Paragon here in Bangkok.
The first day I had the the phone, I already complained about the signal strength and I requested for a replacement but my request got denied Thailand. support is NOT helpful at all and they don't care if the customers are having a hard time using the product. They have asked me to leave the phone, so i won't have any phone for 2 weeks (again this is day 1!!!!!). I have requested for a loaner, however, they denied this request again (they were never helpful and i firmly suggest that you review your support operations here in Thailand)
I have given the phone enough chance to prove its worth but all that it has given me is stress.
Now my problem is that the phone is very slow and a lot of apps are crashing (facebook, camera app etc) I have restarted the phone, updated the software, uninstalled some apps, closed apps, yet the phone is still slow after a few hours and the battery keeps on draining fast. I am not really that dumb with smartphones as I work in IT so I can say that I have performed all the necessary troubleshooting.
Could I please return the product and get a refund? To whom should I talk to? Because Sonymobile Thailand doesn't want to issue/facilitate the product return and I feel so hopeless. Could you please be the one to talk to Sony Thailand and authorise the return? I am getting stressed because of this phone because I cannot do mundane tasks. Please do not contribute more about the anguish I am receiving from your local office here in Bangkok. The customer experience is by far the worst that I have experienced compared to Samsung, Huawei, etc. Hoping for your favourable reply, thanks
I'm sorry to hear about your issues but this is a global user based forum, you have to contact the store where you bought the device and/or your Local support
After giving chance to my Xperia XZ for 2 months, i finally gave up. The after sales service totally especially here in Thailand. I went to the Sony support centre in a famous mall here and the lady in the booth said that wait for google to patch like she doesn't know what she was saying. They wanted me to surrender the phone for observation leaving me phoneless for 1 week!
I highly suggest to get rid of your Xperia devices and go to a more reputable brand with better support. I will blog and make videos on youtube about this horrible experience. People have the right to know what kind of company they are dealing with and I believe i will do a good public service. Please get rid of SONY! You will feel how highly comfortable it is to have a better phone.
I am now a happy owner of an LG G6, it is very fast, has a good camera, and the battery lasts longer with 5-6 hrs screen on time!
