Hello guys
I bought on July my XZ Premium directly from Sony estore but it was defeated so I asked for a replacement and they sent me a new one. The problem is that this new phone doesn't get any new updates out of .90 while it is customized it (no brand) and as you can see here xpericheck.com/device/G8141 there are new updates available. I can of course flash with flashtool but since my phone is perfectly stick I don't see why I should.
So my question is: Why my unit doesn't get any new updates while they are effectively available?
Thanks
Did you go to Settings -> About phone -> Software updates? Or have you tried using the Xperia Companion on a PC? If none work try a factory reset and try again. I have an XZP customized IT as well and just updated to the latest version.
dial *#*#7378423#*#*, go to Service info > Software info and check your Customization number, then see what firmware version is available for it on XperiCheck.
You just answered my question that I posed in another thread on how to identify what patch is correct for my phone. Now I already have the current one that is available for my phone. S\
However, if there was a newer version available for download, what is the procedure for installing it after I receive it?
Thanks again!!

the phone should notify you about an available update and guide you through the process. if you know that the update is available for your customization but you haven't been notified yet, go to Settings > About phone > Software update > System updates and try refreshing the list. after that it's just a matter of downloading the update and letting the phone do its thing and rebooting by itself.
