Yesterday, I've bought an XZ Premium for my wife instead of her old Galaxy S6 Edge (which has a very loud speaker sound), almost everything in the XZ Premium is great, except the sound loudness; its very low and has to set the volume to Max just to be able to hear, and if we set the volume to 50%; almost its silent.
Hope I can get an answer very soon to be able to ask for a replacement "if the device was defected".

Actually it's on the last build, the one that you mentioned. Donnot know if a factory reset would help!

I did a repair via Companion PC app, unfortunately sound still low.
will ask the retailer to check if my wife's device is defected or if this is a general in sony............... I might lose 100 USD or more just to sell it as an used unit (24hrs of usage)
Hmm, mine seems to be ok.
Sound level is still same no matter the software version, it is not loud but definitely I can hear it. Let the device be investigated by local service if software repair did not fix the issue. Maybe just faulty unit due to lack of quality control.
