How does the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X compare to Xperia XZ1 in Durability and waterproofness?

Apple keynotes mentioned that the new iPhone is the most durable ever? I'm interested to hear how people think this compares to the Gorilla glass and other durability features of the XZ1?
